"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." Matthew 7:24-25

The Beginning of the "To-do List"
After a couple of very stressful weeks, we finally found a loan & signed a lot of paperwork! On Saturday, April 15 we started on our first house project--taking out some very overgrown bushes! The fence on this side of the house fell down, so we have to replace it. We decided to move the fence forward so our backyard/side yard will be bigger. In order to move the fence, we have to remove all of these bushes! This is the side of our house--you can see how big the bushes are (Joel is over 6 feet tall!) Did I mention they have 1/2" to 2" thorns??
We worked for about 2 1/2 hours and then took a lunch break. Joel worked for a few more hours--and the bush is almost gone! Good work, Joel!

Congratulations Joel and Sarah! It is a great house and it needs some work. It was too much for my dad to keep up the last year and I am not sure how much Rhonda has been able to do since. It is in a great location and good neighborhood. Please let me know Rhonda's new address and phone number. I know Rhonda will enjoy being in a smaller place and she can make new memories instead of living with all the old memories. Congratulations and welcome to home ownership.
