As I mentioned in a previous blog, our small group is growing by leaps and bounds. Four of us had babies this summer in July & August in addition to Zachary who is 20 months old. A couple of weeks ago we had a Halloween party with our small group and the kids were all dressed up. So, here they are...too cute.
Elijah was a "little monster" (far left), Anders was a frog, Zachary was a "chick magnet" and Acadia (sleeping, and our token girl) was "Autumn". Ryan was also present and dressed up cute as can be as a little greek god--his mom & dad were also dressed up in togas, but he was a bit fussy and didn't make it in the picture.
It has been lots of fun to be in a group with other moms. We get together about once a week to talk--yesterday I said we should talk about something non-child related. The room was silent. We couldn't think of anything! What was life like before kids?

LOVE the chick magnet!!!
I am so glad you have group to of new moms to discuss things with, our hospital here in town offers two support groups for new parents. One is New Parents (used to me Moms) Monday and Breast feeding support group. I found both to very helpful and I am still friends with many people from both groups. Even though our oldest have all started kindergarten and we don't get together as much we are planning the play group Christmas party. It was so helpful to be able to ask questions and hear from the facilitator, a pediatric nurse and from other moms. We talked about different stages and how to introduce solids. It is helpful even past the baby stage to be able to talk with other moms.
I also love the chick magnet! I have a picture very similar to this, though not at Halloween, of Charis and some other baby girls all born around the same time. Brings back memories!!
