Since I began blogging in April 2006, I have posted 138 blogs about a variety of topics, this will be #139. The blog began mostly as updates about our house projects and has since then morphed into random blogs about a variety of topics. Half the time I just enjoy blogging about something so that I will remember that event...kind of like a journal.
I thought I would dedicate this entry to my top 10 favorite blogs. Some are my favorite because they are funny or sentimental...there's really no rhyme or reason as to why they are my favorite, but they are in order, starting with my top choice.

Thanks for sharing, I love the summary! My favorite - the compliment! Joel kills me, and it was fun to remember watching the last comic standing when you first posted it.
Another favorite - "Proper Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance" - classic, can i come with to your next conference? I could wear an engineering pocket protector, some fluds, it could bring it to a whole new level!

In a post from last summer, I think you talked about books yoru were reading. I just finished a good book, "Three Cups of Tea One Man's MIssion to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time," by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. It's an amazing story and it's a true story.
